BCBA-Led ABA Support

Personalized support without the intensive schedule.

Personalized Support Without the Intensive Schedule

Our BCBA-led ABA services provide individualized support for children and families through a combination of direct therapy and parent coaching. Services typically range from 2-6 hours per week and are designed to address meaningful goals while empowering parents to support progress between sessions.

Unlike traditional ABA models that rely on multiple staff members, all services are provided directly by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This means your family works with one experienced clinician who knows your child, understands your goals, and collaborates closely with you every step of the way.

What Is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of understanding behavior—why it happens, what it communicates, and how the environment shapes it. ABA uses evidence-based strategies to teach new skills, support communication, reduce challenging behavior, and help children become more independent in daily routines.

Today's insurance guidelines limit most ABA funding to children with an autism diagnosis, even though behavior support can be transformative for children with many different developmental profiles, and for families as a whole. Gentle Roots exists to bridge that gap by meeting families where they are, offering warm and practical support, whether they're waiting for formal services or seeking guidance outside standard insurance pathways.

At Gentle Roots, ABA is practiced in a strengths-based, compassionate, and individualized way. There are no cookie-cutter plans or rigid insurance requirements. Just practical support tailored to each family's needs.

Parent Coaching That Creates Lasting Change

Children make the greatest progress when the important adults in their lives feel confident and supported.

Parent coaching is a core part of our model. Together, we develop practical strategies that fit naturally into your family's routines, helping you support skill development during everyday activities.

Our goal is not to make families dependent on therapy. Our goal is to help families build the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful change long after services end.
